Are you passionate about delivering quality digital services to customers? Are you an experienced Software Developer who wants to develop their skills and step into a growing team?

Here at the Solicitors Regulation Authority, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our development team. You will lead the team ensuring a high quality of code while ensuring best practices are followed and improved. 

You will focus on:

  • The development and design of both internal and externally facing applications – websites, APIs, and modular integration components. You will be key to setting up standards, principles, and ways of working and how we achieve this in the most effective manner
  • Oversight of third-party code delivery, including review of code, pull requests and technical documentation.

Reporting into the Software Development Manager, you will use your experience to help shape our methodologies, processes, and drive adoption into the team.

What we are looking for 

  • Technical architecture and design experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Azure, C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web API,
    xUnit, JavaScript frameworks including Angular and Vue.js
  • Knowledge and experience in messaging technologies
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively and have a result orientated approach
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • To up skill, coach, and mentor team members to ensure that they are motivated, engaged, and optimal
