We are looking to recruit two experienced policy professionals to manage our policy development.
The Policy Project Lead role sits in our Consumer Policy and Engagement Directorate. The role will support work in evolving and high-profile areas of work, with particular focus on high-volume consumer claims.
As the Policy Project Lead, you will be capable of managing major policy projects, able to learn and manage complex issues quickly, and thrive under tight deadlines. You will have a proficient understanding of the consumer interest and ensure the impact on consumers is front and centre in the development of policy solutions.
With substantial senior-level policymaking experience, you will play a pivotal role in every aspect of the process from strategic design to implementation. You’ll manage the review, development and advocacy for key issues, providing strategic insights while delivering actionable policy solutions and driving them through to execution.
You will also be responsible for establishing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, have a proven ability to manage and influence complex relationships, and will represent the SRA effectively with senior external stakeholders. As a member of the SRA’s leadership team, you will promote the SRA’s culture, values, policies and ways of working to internal colleagues.
